As real estate agents, we are not just selling houses, we are selling a lifestyle, and we believe Boise offers one of the best. While our town and its surrounding areas often make us think of outdoor adventure and incredible scenery, downtown Boise provides a vibrant and lively city experience too. February in Boise is full of fantastic events and opportunities to get out on the town. Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a loved one or a gaggle of girlfriends—there are plenty of exciting options to dine, play, shop, and explore regardless of your relationship status. Plan a Galentine’s gathering at the Ballet, enjoy live music and a complimentary charcuterie board at a local winery, or buy tickets to an amazing 5-course farm-to-table dinner event at the Idaho State Museum. You don’t have to be in love to love these fun February events in Boise!

Farm-To-Heart at the Idaho State Museum. Join Idaho-native and world-renowned chef Gina D’Orazio-Stryker for a 5-course farm-to-table Valentine’s dinner at the Idaho State Museum, featuring locally sourced ingredients from the Boise Farmers Market. This unique dining experience highlights storytelling through food and family, with local farmers sharing the rich history of Idaho’s agricultural evolution at various interludes throughout the meal. Celebrate love and the spirit of the season as you indulge in a thoughtfully crafted menu that brings together the best of local cuisine and heartfelt stories. Enjoy a captivating musical performance by the Trebelle Trio on historical instruments, all while savoring exquisite dishes.

Candlelight Musical Tribute. This incredible experience has been on our bucket list for a while now, and what better time to enjoy music by candlelight than Valentine’s Day weekend? Hosted by Boise’s First Presbyterian Church, these intimate concerts are performed by the Listeso String Quartet and pay tribute to some of the world’s greatest musicians and artists. On Friday, the music of Adele will be featured, and on Saturday, the quartet will plan some of Coldplay's greatest hits. Check out our blog about Boise’s best fine-dining experiences, and make a night of it!

Telaya Wine Events. One of our favorite local wineries, Telaya, hosts fantastic events and dinner parties throughout the year. While we love to visit in the warmer months to enjoy their expansive outdoor patio, the wine is delicious… and served year-round! Sign up for their sushi-making class being offered on February 12th, visit their Valentine’s Day market to shop local vendors on the 10th, or stop by on the 14th for an amazing wine and chocolate pairing featuring Chef Rick Gardunia of Crave Kitchen and Bar.

Live music at Dude Dewalt Cellars. If you haven’t visited Dude Dewalt in Eagle, you are truly missing out. Set on top of a hillside with immaculate views of the Treasure Valley, this is one of the best spots to enjoy a glass of wine. The grounds are incredible, and outdoor firepits make the patio comfortable nearly year-round, and the tasting room is run out of a rustic barn on the property. On Valentine’s Day, they are offering live music and a complimentary charcuterie board with the purchase of a bottle of wine. Go early, stay late, take a date, or bring your friends—this is the perfect, low-key way to celebrate the holiday!

Ballet Idaho’s Anthology. Get a head start on your celebration and experience Ballet Idaho’s Anthology, February 6–9. Often an audience favorite, Anthology offers rich variety in a collection of short works. The Saturday show includes childcare offering hands-on experiments & excitement for children ages 3-11. Show your ticket at partnering restaurants on the night of the performance and enjoy special perks! The Avery is offering a free round of drinks plus 10% off your check. Alavita is offering 10% off your meal. Chandlers has created a prix-fixe menu designed specifically for ballet patrons. And KIN invites you to savor a special $15 Anthology-themed cocktail, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Ballet Idaho.
