Top Golf Courses in the Treasure Valley

Home to a multitude of courses to choose from, both public and private, there is something in the Treasure Valley for everyone whether you are swinging your first strokes or shooting par every round.

 

Hillcrest Country Club:

The cream of the crop in the Treasure Valley, Hillcrest’s golf course is overseen by PGA professional Brett Kleinkopf and has been host to the Boise Open, a professional golf tournament, since 1990. Hillcrest offers year-round access to the private course which features a slope of 130 and a green speed between 10.0 and 11.0. This challenging course has a par of 71, and Hillcrest offers an expansive practice area with 2 putting greens and an 80-yard short game facility to get your game up to snuff before hitting the course.

 

Crane Creek Country Club:

Recently redesigned in 2017, Crane Creek Country Club’s course features tight fairways, fast greens, and a challenging canyon that winds through the back 9. This private course sits in the Boise Foothills and prides itself on its turf conditions and expertly manicured features. Some of the best players in the Boise Valley play here, including the Boise State University golf team. This course is the perfect place to take a step back from the hustle of day-to-day life, enjoy the wildlife and natural surroundings, and work on your game. 

 

The Club at Spurwing:

The Club at Spurwing is home to the longest private course in the Treasure Valley, playing 7,300 yards total. Spurwing also includes a putting course as well as a 9-hole par three course. This course is kept in prime condition and is a favorite of many top golfers in the valley.

 

BanBury Golf Course:

BanBury is a top public course in the Treasure Valley and has consistently been voted in the top ten of Idaho golf courses by Golf Digest. It sits sprawled by the south channel of the Boise River and offers stunning views and wildlife on top of a challenging par 71 course. 

 

River Club Golf Course:

The River Club, formally known as the Plantation Golf Course, is a private course that features a challenging par-71, 6,376-yard layout. This course is nestled next to the Boise River and offers a challenge for even the best of golfers. Members of this club are part of a very active golf community, with frequent events including tournaments, scrambles, and social events.

 

Warm Springs Golf Course:

This public course features close proximity to downtown and southeast Boise. Warm Springs Golf Course sits right next to the Boise River and the Greenbelt and offers an 18-hole championship course. Perfect for beginner to intermediate skill levels, Warm Springs offers the chance to work on your game at a high-quality but affordable course.
