A Fresh New Destination: Warm Springs Grill + Golf

After more than two decades of talks and a year of construction, the brand-new Warm Springs Grill + Golf facility is officially open in East Boise, offering more than just a spot for birdies, drives, and dreams of a hole-in-one.

The City of Boise invested in the project with the vision of creating a true community hub in an area of town that has long needed more dining and gathering options. As Boise Parks and Recreation Director Doug Holloway shared, the goal was to create a place that feels like a community center as much as a golf clubhouse. The result? A beautifully designed building that holds a restaurant, bar, grab-and-go snack bar, and golf shop, all anchored by a large covered patio with sweeping foothill and fairway views.

This new facility is slated to quickly become a favorite East End destination. Ride your bike along the Greenbelt, float the nearby stretch of the Boise River, or hike Table Rock, and then stop in for a cold drink and dinner on the shaded patio. Whether you’ve finished 18 holes or simply want to enjoy the East Boise scenery, the grill is open to the public and welcomes all.

The project was made possible through a generous $3.5 million donor gift, with the remaining balance funded through the City of Boise’s budget and golf course revenue. Boise Mayor Lauren McLean called the facility “an important part of our city’s history and recreational offerings,” noting that it will enhance the experience for both golfers and the greater community for generations to come.

Warm Springs Golf Course itself is a long-loved landmark: an 18-hole championship course set along the Boise River and connected by the Greenbelt. Already a popular gathering place for golfers of all ages and abilities, the new facility elevates the experience with additional space for events, increased parking, and a dining option that embodies Boise’s outdoor lifestyle.
