• Idaho State Capitol Christmas Tree Lighting

Enjoy the annual Capitol Christmas Tree lighting and live performances from local choirs & the Idaho National Guard's 25th Army Band. Plus, free cookies, hot cocoa & coffee!

• 2025 Mountain West Championship - Boise State VS UNLV

Dates: December 5 | 6:00 PM

Boise State and UNLV meet in the title game for the third consecutive season, with the Broncos chasing a historic third consecutive MW championship.

• Holiday Market at Art Source Gallery

• Winter Garden Aglow 2025

Date: November 28 – December 31 | 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Once a modest light display, Winter Garden Aglow has evolved into a signature Boise tradition and the Idaho Botanical Garden’s premier annual fundraiser.

• Winter Wonderland | Indian Creek Plaza

Date: November 24 to mid - January

Enjoy holiday shopping, grab dinner, warm up with coffee or hot chocolate, and glide across the ice ribbon--all under the glow of over a million lights.

• Lost in Christmas at Shindig Farms

• Docu-Musical: "All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914" Preview Performance

Santa Claus is coming to the Women's and Children's Alliance! He and his elves will take photos with community members young and old. Photos, treats, and crafts will be free and accessible to all.

• Boise Film Festival Presents: ELF with Faizon Love

A special holiday screening of ELF with guest Faizon Love returns to The Egyptian Theatre, with all proceeds supporting Interfaith Sanctuary and local unhoused families.
