Where to Eat Next: New Restaurants Coming to the Treasure Valley
Anderson Prime American Steakhouse | Star
One of the Treasure Valley's most anticipated restaurant projects continues to move forward in Star. Created by the family behind Anderson Reserve in Sweet, Prime is envisioned as much more than a traditional steakhouse. Plans include an upscale butcher shop, expansive indoor and outdoor dining, a dramatic horseshoe bar, a speakeasy-style lounge, and a unique cigar silo, creating what promises to be a true destination dining experience.
The Village at Meridian Expansion
The Village continues its transformation with more than 90,000 square feet of new retail and restaurant space. Three additions we're especially excited about include:
- Flower Child — A bright, health-focused restaurant known for fresh salads, grain bowls, wraps, soups, and organic ingredients. With plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, it's become a favorite in markets across the country.
- Culinary Dropout — A lively gastropub featuring wood-fired favorites, handcrafted cocktails, live music, and an energetic atmosphere that's equally suited for happy hour or weekend brunch.
- Capital Grille — A nationally acclaimed steakhouse known for dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood, an extensive wine list, and polished service, bringing another upscale dining option to the Treasure Valley.
Woodstone at the Flats | Eagle
The owners of Goodwood Barbecue are creating what they describe as a legacy project for Eagle. Plans include two distinct restaurants, boutique retail, an event venue, and beautifully landscaped gathering spaces. Woodstone Crafted Kitchen will focus on breakfast, brunch, lunch, and fresh "clean foods," while Woodstone 99 Dinner House will build upon the beloved Goodwood menu with a more refined dinner experience. The project also includes the Woodstone Barn, an all-season community venue planned for yoga classes, wellness events, live music, celebrations, and more.
Konala | Downtown Boise
Founded in Post Falls, Konala has grown quickly by offering something many fast-food restaurants don't: genuinely healthy meals served quickly. Their menu centers around high-protein bowls, fresh salads, wraps, and customizable options with clearly listed nutrition information—perfect for busy professionals, students, or anyone looking for a healthier meal on the go. The new downtown Boise location continues the Idaho-born company's rapid expansion.
Loving Lefse | Downtown Boise
After building a loyal following through its food trailer, Loving Lefse has opened its first brick & mortar café downtown. The family-owned business serves handcrafted Norwegian potato flatbreads made from a recipe passed down through five generations, filled with both sweet and savory ingredients.
Dave's Hot Chicken | North End
One of the country's fastest-growing restaurant brands is headed to Boise's North End. The new location will feature the chain's signature Nashville-style hot chicken along with an expanded indoor-outdoor patio designed to become part of the neighborhood gathering scene. Franchise owner Doug Davis described the location as "the perfect fit," citing the surrounding North End community, Boise High, and North Junior High as reasons for investing in the area.
After three decades helping people buy and sell homes across the Treasure Valley, we've learned that real estate is only part of the story. The places people gather—their favorite coffee shops, restaurants, breweries, and neighborhood hangouts—are just as much a part of what makes a community feel like home.
