Idaho Art Gallery exhibitions feature a curated mix of local, regional, and national artists working in a wide variety of mediums — from painting and sculpture to photography, ceramics, and mixed media. In June, don't miss "Meanwhile, Out West," a landscape exhibition by Bonnie Griffith that reflects her deep connection to the American West through oil paintings and pastels of open land, horses, and cattle. Capturing shifting light, layered textures, and the quiet rhythms of the landscape, Griffith invites viewers to pause and reconnect with the rugged beauty and stillness of the natural world.

Roars and Pours

Explore on a Friday evening and enjoy zoo experiences at your own pace. Activities include live music, Giraffe Encounter ($5), giant Aldabra tortoise Mr. Mac encounter ($5), a zookeeper chat, special animal experiences, and free carousel rides! Beer, wine, cider, non-alcoholic beverages, and a special food menu will be available for purchase. 

National Trails Day

Snake River Stampede

Emmett Cherry Festival

The Emmett Cherry Festival takes place during the second full week of June at Emmett City Park, featuring traditional festival events, concerts, and a carnival from Wednesday through Saturday, along with community celebrations throughout the week. Families and friends gather for one of Idaho’s premier family-friendly events, known for its wide range of free activities and welcoming atmosphere.

Movies Under the Stars

Julia Davis Park

The Movies Under the Stars series kicks off its first film of the summer on Friday, June 19 at the Gene Harris Bandshell in Julia Davis Park. Families are invited to enjoy Zootopia 2 under the night sky, with the film beginning at dusk once conditions are suitable for projection, typically after 9 p.m. All Movies Under the Stars events are free, open to all ages, and do not require tickets.

4th Annual Dandelion Festival

Dads, Dogs, and Donuts: A Father’s Day Celebration
